When I bought my Sony α camera, I was curious about something called the "α Anshin Program."
It's a paid service at ¥550/month. At first I thought it wasn't worth signing up for — but when I looked into it before purchasing the RX1R III, I found it was genuinely worth it.

What Is the α Anshin Program?
It's a paid support program for Sony α series cameras.
- Monthly fee: ¥550 (tax included)
- Enrollment fee: normally ¥1,100 → currently ¥110 during campaign (end date TBD)
Members receive shopping vouchers and various discounts at the Sony Store.
Benefits
① Loyalty Shopping Voucher (once a year, ¥3,000)
You receive a ¥3,000 Sony Store shopping voucher once a year.
For new members, it arrives in the 4th month after enrollment.
Annual cost: ¥550 × 12 = ¥6,600. With ¥3,000 back, the actual burden is ¥3,600.
② Extended Lens Warranty Discount (the Biggest Benefit)
Personally, this is the standout benefit.
The normally paid "Extended Warranty <3-Year Wide>" — covering accidental damage, water damage, and fire — becomes free for program members. You can attach it to as many lenses as you like. The "5-Year Wide" is available at 50% off.
③ Other Benefits
- Camera cleaning and inspection service up to 50% off
- α Academy (Sony photography course) tuition 10% off
- Trade-in and buy-back value increased by 5%
I personally don't use ③ that often, but it's a great perk for those who do regular camera maintenance.

The loyalty voucher (¥3,000) can be stacked with shareholder discount coupons and Sony Card discounts.
